10/10 Best Trip Ever!!
BOOK THIS PLACE!! The pictures are gorgeous but it’s even more beautiful in person and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Battman was very accommodating and kind throughout the whole trip and easy to reach when we needed him. The house is located 5 minutes away from Magen’s beach which was our favorite beach on the island. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this house!

Amazing Hidden Gem!
From the moment we booked Allan was an incredible host! He stayed in touch and provided a wealth of information before we even got to the house, as well as throughout our stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking, the house is spacious and clean. It felt like our own little island paradise instead of a crowded resort. We had the best time exploring the island, and coming back to our peaceful and beautiful view at the end of the day was absolute perfection.

Loved this place!
We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one is a gem. The view and the house itself are amazing. It is very quiet and private. The owner is very accessible and really strives to make sure your stay is fantastic. The house has everything you need for supplies as well as a lot of nice to haves that are the icing on the cake. We have never stayed twice at the same property as we like to explore new properties but if we make it back to St Thomas we will definitely stay here again. The owner helped us with a lot of pre-trip planning as he knows the island really well.

Wonderful, beautiful, amazing house!
I highly recommend this house to anyone going to St. Thomas. We stayed with our 2yo and 1yo and the house was perfect for 4 people. The stairs are steep going into the house but other than that you couldn’t ask for a better setup. We were worried after the hurricanes that the house might have damage but everything was perfect. The shower is amazing to look at the stars, listen to the birds and feel the passing rain showers. The kitchen is all you need for a weeks worth of cooking, which we did with 2 little ones. There are plenty of neighbor iguanas to watch while on the patio and the views are hands down some of the best in the world. Alan was amazing leading up to the trip, providing directions and recommendations for activities and answering all of our questions. When we go back, we would not stay any place else.

Amazing Hidden Gem!
My husband and our friends stayed in House of Jasmine in January of 2017. Our expectations were beyond exceeded as this is truly an amazing place! The villa is spacious, beautifully updated and has incredible views of Magen’s Bay. The owner, Alan, was very accommodating and friendly and ensured our trip from start to finish was perfect. Thank you Alan for your superior customer service and for sharing your incredible home with us!! We hope to come back soon!!!

5/5 Absolutely amazing!!!
This place is a must see. Great location, stunning view and wonderful attention to detail. The highlight was the deck at sunrise and sunset with coffee and drinks. We saw an amazing and huge double rainbow!!! I wish VRBO had an option to attach the photo. The sound system is a nice touch. Great local music which we had playing all the time. Battman was fantastic. Well organized, fast communication and responsive to all needs. Don’t miss this place and book early. We were lucky to find this place and will be returning.

Just What We Wanted!
Between the view, relaxing front patio and enormous common space/kitchen, we were really grateful we chose this rental. The beds offered many nights of good sleep, the open air shower lived up to its promise of island views, the air conditioner worked great, and the kitchen is indeed well equipped for homemade meals. The owner is located in NYC but is as attentive and respectful as someone who is just a block away. If you’re looking for a quiet location this is the spot. If we find ourselves back on Saint Thomas, we’ll definitely being staying at Alan’s again!

Beautiful!
This place is beautiful and right on Magen’s Bay! The home has everything you need to cook and enjoy the water including beach towels, snorkel gear, boogey boards etc. The views are stunning. Alan was a great host and very responsive whenever we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

A Two Million Dollar View
A lovely very functional house with a large living space. The bedrooms, bath, and kitchen are perfectly done. From the grand living/dining area one can walk out onto a porch overlooking Magens Bay. Magens Bay beach is only a five minute drive and although it costs five dollars per person and also the car, the beach has to be one of the best in the world. Coming from Nantucket, where we live, that is saying something. The owner is great and we can’t wait to go back.

Alan’s place is beautiful.
It reminded me of an Italian villa on Lake Como…The high ceilings, the spacious kitchen and the incredible views are fantastic. Very peaceful place to stay and great walks from the villa. You feel really safe and private. Hope to return soon.

Perfect family getaway.
Our family of 4 had a magical time making so many joyous memories on our recent trip here. The house is spacious and clean with lovely decor that makes u feel even more remote. The view of Magens is stunning and the location is perfect w.r.t. proximity to other beaches, sites, restaurants, etc.
Battman was lovely to work with- he was proactively communicative and super responsive. All his dining recommendations were spot on as well!
The highlight of our trip was no doubt the private beach that is an absolute treasure.
It’s a downhill (and return uphill) walk that our family had no issues with that we made almost daily! Take the time to absolutely make the “trek” and enjoy the views on the way because it is absolutely worth it once there. Serene and secluded, it was our special place to snorkel and swim with the sea turtles, and my boys perfected their skim boarding skills to boot! We hope to be back again soon!

Stellar Location with water views!
Starting with excellent communication with the host, this comfortable home offered a great location with access to all of the beaches including a direct view of Magens Bay from the deck. Did I mention the sunset from the deck? Had a great time adventuring to out of the way beaches where we were Alone or with just a few others. Highly recommend!

Stunning view over Magens Bay
This is a great place to stay and explore the island! Very close to Magens beach by car. Beautiful view from the Patio onto the Bay. Spacious living space. Kitchen with everything you need. Towels and some beach gear provided. Be aware though with little kids you have to watch them outside as its on a steep hill. Would definitely stay here again!

Stunning views, Gorgeous home!
We loved the home, which is situated in the least populated region of St. Thomas, but with easy access to Red Hook for high-end groceries (Moe’s market) and dining. The views from the deck of Magens Bay are stunning. The home is beautifully decorated with southeast asian art, which has an island vibe. Magens Bay is almost within walking distance, and there is a private beach just down the hill. Our girls found plenty of sea turtles and sting rays snorkeling near the private beach. Magens Bay beach is probably the largest and most beautiful beach on either St. Thomas or St. John, but we also enjoyed Smith Bay beach (St. Thomas) and Trunk Bay/Hawksnest beach (St. John). We took some truly phenomenal guided kayak tours through Virgin Island Ecotours, which I highly recommend. We did need to purchase about 10 gallons of drinking water for our family for the week, and cooked all of our meals right at home. The neighborhood is very quiet; some people jogged in the morning, but otherwise the roads and beaches are empty until 10 am. The home was very comfortable and the girls found a cabinet of legos, books, snorkels, sand toys, etc., which kept them busy in the evenings.
